Woodley and Whitegates Liberal Democrats
Jenny is the councillor for Bulmershe and Whitegates. She has lived in the ward for over 30 years and both her children attended local primary and secondary schools. Jenny first became involved in local issues and campaigns through the Association of Central Earley Residents and was first elected in 1994. A keen environmentalist, Jenny has been active in many local campaigns and is especially concerned about the high level and speed of traffic in the ward. She also has a keen interest and experience in planning and serves on the planning committee.

Tahir has lived in Earley for over 8 years with his wife and two sons who have both attended Earley St Peters primary school and are now at Maiden Erlegh. Tahir is campaigning to clean up our local streets. His other passions include the local environment and reducing crime. Tahir was a founding member of Arthritis Matters, a charity that serves the Greater Reading area, and he also works with other local charities. He is an accountant working in the rail industry.

Munir Ahmed
Munir is a family man with three children who has lived in Earley since 1996. He is keen to resolve local problems, such as pot holes and blocked drains, before they become a major issue. Munir has worked with many residents to get social service issues resolved and tries hard to improve leisure facilities for young people. Working in IT for over 25 years he currently works as an Environment Delivery Manager with a utility company.
