Woodley and Whitegates Liberal Democrats
Sam has lived in Woodley for over 40 years and has served as a Town and Borough councillor since 1998. He is an active member of the community (having previously worked on many charitable committees) and has always spoken up for local residents on local issues such as providing the extra parking on the corner of Bruce and Wheble Drive. He wants to continue working to ensure that the Woodley Whitegates gets a fair deal from the Borough Council.

Malcolm was a Wokingham Borough Councillor for 14 years before standing down at the 2011 elections. He has been a Woodley Town Councillor for 4 years and is looking forward to serving on the town council for another term of office. He has lived in Earley for 36 years and is married with three daughters who all attended local schools. Malcolm used to lecture at Bracknell & Wokingham college before his retirement.
He enjoys helping local residents with their problems and is particularly interested in planning issues.
Lesley Hayward has lived in Woodley for over 20 years and brought up her family
of two boys here She ran the White Horse Pub in Wokingham Without for some years.
Her many interests include green bowling, reading and interior design. She feels
passionate about the need for good bus services, considerate parking, the regeneration
of Woodley town centre and the preservation of the valuable green open space between
Earley and Woodley. Lesley wants to put something back into Woodley and has lots
of enthusiasm for the future of our town.
Amanda has lived in Woodley for over 40 years and went to school and college locally.
Her father was the caretaker of Willow Bank School for her first 20 years and she
shared the community spirit through Carnivals and Sports Days. Amanda has worked
in customer service at Yell for the last 20 years where she is also a charity co-ordinator,
raising money for all type of needs. Her hobbies include Wildlife, Photography, Cycling and
Gardening. Amanda says "She wishes to carry on making Woodley a great place to live
for everyone."
