ELMS FIELD PETITION TO BE FORMALLY PRESENTED TO COUNCIL CHIEF EXECUTIVE

The Campaign group set up to stop Wokingham’s Conservatives building on the green space at Elms Field will formally present their petition to Wokingham Borough Council’s Chief Executive Andy Couldrick this Friday 25th October at 4pm.

Cllr Prue Bray Leader of the Liberal Democrat opposition said “The petition has more than 2000 signatures and we have been overwhelmed by the support of local people who are hostile to the Conservatives’ plans. We invite residents to join us at the Council offices when the petition is formally presented and will be meeting at 3.45pm in the Shute End car park.”
